@mask_bastard I feel like it has something to do with the spyware issue that Epic games was known for. not to mention their free games tends to be a mix or low quality or easily forgotten. Steam's discounts can be higher and more worth the costs. also steam has better customer service.

@lilifying That is extreme, but I can think of a few. Overpriced games, classics inaccessible without a subscription, faulty controllers (stick drift), shutting down fan games, not listening to customer opinions. There's many more I assume. But this are some I can think of.

I love how after you beat Star Fox 64 the crew just basically gave General Pepper a bill with the number of enemies you killed being how much you get paid. Essentially reminding you that Fox McCloud is a mercenary that kills for money.

The balls of them to show Star Fox Adventures, finally acknowledging its existence after so many years, to then NOT announce immediately after that it's being added to NSO. It likely will be added at some point, but the fact that this was moved on quickly was pretty funny.

@XRTerra_ I mean to be fair the new starfox title is just a overhaul of Starfox 64. we haven't had a actual sequel to the game in years so indie games using the game's mechanic is with new stuff is the only way to get a new experience.

Recommending Indie games out of spite is a TERRIBLE idea, btw. Instead you could frame this as "oh look at these cool indie games like star fox in anticipation for the next game"

@MagicMushMM I mean I have nothing against these titles either. My only complaint for adventures was those crawling and climbing segments so you can transition to the next area and how annoying the test of strength was. I always felt that game mode was rigged.

We got two Star Fox games on foot (They were decent games I'll fight you on that) everyone complained that you weren't in a vehicle the entire time so Nintendo decided "Alright you get Star Fox 64 forever then" Star Fox is Monkey Paw: The Series
