@CCStone8 I’m not sure how “budget” Southwest is these days. During peak periods you’re paying as much as other “non-budget” airlines.

@dflamturnover And International al Idol pulled in around $2000 in less than 2 hours.

Avenger Hoopla used to pull $3000 in 3 hrs…elementary, middle and HS girls and boys teams played running clock games, raffles in between, culminating with faculty vs varsity… community loved it, bank!

@USDOT This was 100% in their control. They need to give everyone back at least the money/points for their tickets. Not to mention the emotional stress it cause people who missed their holidays with their families. Christmas Day and yesterday’s cancellations were not due to weather.

USDOT is concerned by Southwest’s unacceptable rate of cancellations and delays & reports of lack of prompt customer service. The Department will examine whether cancellations were controllable and if Southwest is complying with its customer service plan.

@MrMeanMarketer @SouthwestAir I was told by the ticket agent this morning at 4 am when I found out my flight had been cancelled that I should have received all my points back and emails confirming. Neither one of those things has happened yet.

Got to the airport at 4 am today and my #southwestAir flight was cancelled. Spent two and 1/2 hours on the phone and then it hung up on me. None of our points were put back into our account. No emails from #swa as promised. #disaster
