@senoraCMT My whole department (me, it’s just me over here) would like to book you for a fun hangout. 😂

I'm in the classroom full time, but I love training teachers and have a little freedom to do some trainings each year (even more time free in the summer if that works for your department). I'm booking now for my 2025 schedule! Let me know if you'd like a quote!

The number of seniors wearing “I voted” stickers in the building today is making my heart happy. Glad to see them doing their civic duty!

November 1 should be an automatic day off for anyone who works with children. TGIF 😅

I never imagined I would feel comfortable presenting to my peers, but @kswla has become such a big part of my professional identity and my heart, and this is now something I look forward to so much all year long. Today was such a great day!

Me to myself: “How is it ALREADY the end of Q1?!” Me responding: “How is it ONLY the end of Q1?!” 😂 Let’s do this! #wlteacher #teachersofx

We’re having a 🪨 📄 ✂️ tournament for Spirit Week and I told one class about @languageley ‘s sneaky trick. Now every challenge I overhear in the halls they’re doing it to each other. 😂 #strategy

I’m subbing for the choir teacher during my plan period today. Her sub plans are to watch Anastasia (it’s our musical this fall), which just so happens to be one of my favorites from childhood. I’m not mad about it. 😂

I FINALLY watched A Million Miles Away and it was soooo fantastic. I can’t wait to share this with my students. 🚀

Petition to whoever designs emojis… I’d like an artichoke immediately. Can we get that in the next iOS update please?

I just set my alarms for work hours and my heart is so sad. Don’t get me wrong, I’m so excited to get these kids on Thursday, but I love my summer routine. #backtoschool #wlteacher

@Eduventuring04 16-18 is my sweet spot. 22 can break me. Sometimes it’s only a matter of a few extra bodies that can really rock the boat. One year I had 26 in one of my periods and they were the death of me every single day.

It’s been a minute since I have had more than 25 kids in my class I have 30 this year For anyone boldly claiming class size doesn’t matter- go teach in a class with 18 kids for a week, then 25, then 30. I guarantee with 💯 certainty you will change your mind

To anyone who thinks teachers make too much or don’t work enough: My brother is a first year teacher who spent countless hours preparing this summer. He just finished his first day with students. It’s 8:43 PM in his time zone, and he’s still at work.
