@DavidSuzukiFDN If global temperature was at an all time high in 2024, what changes should we be making and how feasible is it to turn this all around? #em203robin

Increased use and creation of social media apps is leading to more distraction in a learning environment, especially as they are very easily accessible in a tech dependent world. Another reason leading to why technology can negatively impact learning @EM203Tatiana #em203problems

The food prices have been rising over the inflation rate in the last while (Canada), and may even hit 5% increase in prices in Canada this year! This causes dieting to be harder and food choice to be more expensive, which can lead to obesity @em203mforster4 #em203problems

With the growing fast food industry with easy access, it is easier to have a poor diet as those foods tend to have higher cholesterol and sodium contents. This can lead to obesity and hurt heart health. @EM203NMorin #em203problems

The first few weeks of #EM203Robin have been eye-opening! I’ve been exploring how learning theories like Constructivism apply in today’s digital world. It’s fascinating to see how technology is reshaping not just what we learn, but how we learn. Can’t wait to keep learning!

The first few lessons with #EM203Robin have been a blast!! I’m seeing digital learning in a new light. From behaviorism to the birth of the web, it’s wild how far we’ve come and how it still shapes how we teach today.

@EM203jbennett I also found these lessons very interesting, especially how multitasking can hurt focus. The activities we did for the lessons really proved that.

So far in EM203, I’ve learned that digital learning is active, collaborative, and theory-based. It blends media for better engagement, but multitasking can hurt focus. Students need support to build real skills. Excited to keep learning with X! #EM203Robin

@EM203KWeiler That is very interesting how people still prefer offline connections especially in this world that is so dependent on technology. It is great to see people still like the in-person connection!

In the first lesson I learned A 2013 MediaSmarts survey showed that while Canadian youth are constantly connected online, most still choose to go offline for real-life connections. Being a “digital native” doesn’t always mean being digitally creative. #EM203Robin

The first few weeks of EM203 have been very interesting! It's fascinating how much learning has changed, especially in the digital age. The way we are now utilising all types of technologies for digital learning shows how tech has given us a new possibility to learn. #EM203Robin
