The first couple of lessons in this class have been super interesting and informative as I am now seeing how much of an impact it has on my learning lens. I enjoy interacting with my classmates and loved learning a new task, I didn’t know I would enjoy sewing!! #EM203Robin

@EM203jbennett I also found these lessons very interesting, especially how multitasking can hurt focus. The activities we did for the lessons really proved that.

So far in EM203, I’ve learned that digital learning is active, collaborative, and theory-based. It blends media for better engagement, but multitasking can hurt focus. Students need support to build real skills. Excited to keep learning with X! #EM203Robin

In the first lesson I learned A 2013 MediaSmarts survey showed that while Canadian youth are constantly connected online, most still choose to go offline for real-life connections. Being a “digital native” doesn’t always mean being digitally creative. #EM203Robin
