The first day of meetings and negotiations in Armenia ahead of the European Political Community Summit was dedicated to our coordination with European partners. There are three key objectives. First: we are doing everything possible to bring a dignified end to the war closer. I briefed our partners on the state of diplomacy, potential prospects, and planned contacts. Joint efforts are needed to intensify diplomacy and prevent any reduction in pressure on the aggressor. Russia must end this war. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine! Second: implementation of the European support package for Ukraine totaling €90 billion – we are accelerating this funding. Third: strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, energy support for Ukraine, and cooperation with partners in the energy sector. We are already actively preparing for the next heating season and diversifying the relevant support. I outlined all the needs for protection and recovery. Thank you to every partner who is ready to help!

Перший день зустрічей і перемовин у Вірменії напередодні саміту Європейської політичної спільноти був присвячений нашій координації з європейськими партнерами. Є три ключові завдання. Перше: робимо все, щоб наблизити достойне завершення війни. Поінформував партнерів щодо стану дипломатії, можливих перспектив і запланованих контактів. Потрібні спільні зусилля, щоб активізувати дипломатію та не допускати зменшення тиску на агресора. Росія має завершити цю свою війну. Дякую всім, хто з Україною! Друге: реалізація європейського пакета підтримки для України обсягом 90 млрд євро – прискорюємо це фінансування. Третє: зміцнення української протиповітряної оборони та енергетична підтримка для України й співпраця з партнерами в галузі енергетики. Вже зараз активно готуємося до нового опалювального сезону та диверсифікуємо відповідну підтримку. Поінформував про всі потреби для захисту та відновлення. We are now finding our own sanctions formats against Russia’s shadow fleet. And this morning, we demonstrated our results – what Ukraine was able to achieve overnight. But partner sanctions are also needed. For example, the United Kingdom is doing this the right way, and it is important for us that they help other partners respond accordingly. In particular, we are discussing this today with Prime Minister Starmer and other partners during the visit to Armenia. This visit is the first in the past 24 years. That means an entire generation has grown up in both Ukraine and Armenia during this time. Nevertheless, it is important that the visit is taking place, and that it coincides with the arrival of many other European – and not only European – leaders in Yerevan to take part in the European Political Community Summit. For the first time, Armenia is hosting the European Political Community Summit. The fact that so many countries have come together in this way is certainly a strong European signal to Russia. Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney has also arrived. A meeting with him is scheduled for tomorrow. It is important that we all coordinate in a substantive way. A productive meeting with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic @AndrejBabis. We discussed in detail the bilateral areas of our relations – there is real potential to deepen our cooperation. We also separately discussed the European track and the next steps on Ukraine’s path to membership in the European Union. I thank the entire Czech people for their tremendous and heartfelt support for Ukraine – we truly appreciate it.

Продуктивна зустріч із Прем’єр-міністром Чехії Андреєм Бабішем. Детально обговорили двосторонні напрями наших відносин – маємо можливості для посилення співпраці. Окремо обговорили європейський трек та подальші кроки на шляху до членства України в ЄС. Дякую всьому чеському народу за дуже вагому й теплу підтримку України – ми це справді цінуємо.

I met with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, @Keir_Starmer. In Ukraine, we appreciate all the steps the United Kingdom has taken to support our people and weaken the aggressor, including efforts to counter Russia’s shadow fleet. We discussed this with Keir today. We also paid significant attention to defense support for Ukraine, in particular contributions to the PURL initiative. Ukraine is ready for the next round of negotiations in a trilateral format. The negotiation process to achieve a just and dignified peace was also among the topics of our discussion. We appreciate the United Kingdom’s position on continuing pressure on Russia. This is truly important. We separately discussed support for Ukraine’s energy sector. I briefed the Prime Minuster on the situation on the battlefield and Russia’s strikes against Ukraine. It is important for Europe to coordinate its efforts and develop a joint air defense system to protect against threats from Russia.

Зустрівся із Прем’єр-міністром Великої Британії Кіром Стармером. Ми в Україні цінуємо всі кроки Великої Британії для підтримки нашого народу та послаблення агресора, зокрема в боротьбі проти російського тіньового флоту. Говорили про це сьогодні з Кіром. Приділили значну увагу оборонній підтримці України, зокрема внескам у програму PURL. Україна готова до наступного раунду переговорів у тристоронньому форматі. Переговорний процес для досягнення справедливого й достойного миру також був серед тем нашого обговорення. Цінуємо позицію Великої Британії щодо продовження тиску на Росію. Це дійсно важливо. Окремо обговорили підтримку українського енергетичного сектору. Я поінформував про ситуацію на полі бою та російські удари по Україні. Важливо, щоб Європа скоординувала зусилля та розробила спільну систему протиповітряної оборони для захисту від загроз з боку Росії.

During a meeting with Prime Minister of Finland @PetteriOrpo, I thanked him for Finland’s recent decision to allocate an additional $300 million in defense support for Ukraine. We sincerely appreciate this, and we discussed priority areas of our defense – particularly air defense – that can be strengthened with this package. I proposed to the Prime Minister that we strengthen our bilateral partnership by signing an agreement in the format of the Drone Deal. Ukraine is ready to share its expertise and strengthen those who have been strengthening us since the very beginning of the full-scale invasion. We also touched on international cooperation, particularly our European integration. There is now a good window of opportunity to open the negotiating clusters, and Ukraine fully deserves this. I thank Finland for its support.

Під час зустрічі з Прем’єр-міністром Фінляндії Петтері Орпо подякував за нещодавнє рішення Фінляндії виділити додаткові 300 мільйонів доларів на оборонну підтримку України. Щиро цінуємо це, і ми обговорили пріоритетні напрями нашого захисту – передусім у ППО, – які можна посилити за допомогою цього пакета. Запропонував Прем’єр-міністру зміцнити наше двостороннє партнерство, підписавши угоду в форматі Drone Deal. Україна готова ділитися експертизою та посилювати тих, хто посилює нас від самого початку повномасштабного вторгнення. Окремо торкнулися міжнародної роботи, зокрема нашої євроінтеграції. Саме зараз є хороше вікно можливостей відкрити переговорні кластери, і Україна на це повністю заслуговує. Дякую Фінляндії за підтримку!

I met with the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre @jonasgahrstore, in Yerevan. I thanked Norway for all its support for our country, in particular for its contributions to the PURL initiative totaling nearly $1 billion. Russia is not stopping its ballistic missile strikes, so the timely funding of PURL is critically important. We discussed our strategic partnership: the Drone Deal and efforts to strengthen air defense, as well as cooperation at the level of the private and public sectors. We paid special attention to energy support for Ukraine. I informed the Prime Minister of our needs, particularly regarding natural gas, for the coming winter. Ukraine must enter it prepared. I am grateful to Norway and personally to Jonas for the readiness to help.

Зустрівся з Прем’єр-міністром Норвегії Йонасом Гаром Стере в Єревані. Подякував Норвегії за всю підтримку для нашої країни, зокрема за внески у програму PURL на суму майже 1 мільярд доларів. Росія не зупиняє своїх ударів балістикою, тому своєчасне наповнення PURL дуже важливе. Ми обговорили наше стратегічне партнерство: Drone Deal та роботу над посиленням протиповітряної оборони, співпрацю на рівні приватного та державного секторів. Окрему увагу приділили енергетичній підтримці України. Поінформував про наші потреби, зокрема щодо природного газу, на наступну зиму. Україна обовʼязково має увійти в неї підготовленою. Вдячний Норвегії та особисто Йонасу за готовність допомагати.

Another Russian ‘Kalibr’ carrier down. Major General Yevhenii Khmara reported on the successful strike against targets in the port of Primorsk. It was a joint operation by our Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Defense Intelligence, and the border guards. Thank you all, warriors, for your coordinated work! The Karakurt-class missile ship was hit, along with a patrol boat and another tanker from the shadow oil fleet. Significant damage was also inflicted on the infrastructure of the oil terminal port. Each such result further limits Russia’s war potential. I have also approved additional, entirely justified responses by the Security Service of Ukraine to Russian strikes on our cities and villages. Russia can end its war at any moment. Prolonging the war will only expand the scale of our defensive operations. Thank you to everyone fighting for Ukraine!

Уражено ракетний корабель «Каракурт», також сторожовий катер та ще один танкер тіньового нафтового флоту. Значних ушкоджень досягнуто також і в інфраструктурі нафтоналивного порту. Кожен такий наш результат обмежує російський потенціал війни. Погодив Службі безпеки України й додаткові цілком справедливі відповіді на російські удари по наших містах і селах. Росія може закінчити цю свою війну в будь-який момент. Затягування війни призведе тільки до масштабування наших захисних операцій. Дякую всім, хто бʼється заради України!

Our warriors continue to apply sanctions against Russia’s shadow oil fleet – two such vessels were struck in the waters at the entrance to the port of Novorossiysk. These tankers had been actively used to transport oil – not anymore. I am grateful to Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov for leading the operation, to the counterintelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine, and to our Navy for consistently delivering effective results. Ukraine’s long-range capabilities will continue to be developed comprehensively – at sea, in the air, and on land. Glory to Ukraine!
