Random question: San Diegans, what is this pretty iridescent green beetle, and why do they insist on divebombing my head whenever I’m outside? They’re pretty, but they’re huge and LOUD

@GeekyHooker If you grew up in a Mexican household you know them as mayates ( however be forewarned that it is also a slur word). Anyway, they do always end up landing in your head and are harmless of course.

If you were already on the page and refreshing, you won't see the queue. Whether that's a good thing or not... I would oepn it in another tab just to be safe.
