@VividProwess Why are you including an erroneous map that has Ghana listed as a Muslim country? Ghana is a predominantly Christian nation (~75%).

Do you see that tiny RED dot? That’s Israel, the only Jewish state in the world. They want you to believe that the tiny RED dot is the oppressor and colonizer, and that the GREEN Muslim countries surrounding it are the oppressed. Do they realize how ridiculous they sound?

I am a huge Lakers fan, and even the Lakers have players that do stuff like this, and it all has to stop. It started with Harden's ridiculous step backs... And Durant's rip throughs... but SGA and his antics was the straw that broke the camel's back, and the reason I haven't watched an NBA game in 2-3 years. Not entertaining. Not fun to watch.

Just LOOK at this!! DISGUSTING. Shai just runs into the defender, flails, then hops on the ground, and the ref’s award him free-throws!!! Fans of 90’s basketball say the NBA is unwatchable. NBA ratings are spiraling. Fix your product, @NBA!! 🔥🔥

@SenatorCollins @SenatorCollins the Democrats unreasonable list of demands couldn't have been that unreasonable if the GOP agreed to them and compromised to get this bill passed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sen. Susan Collins
Sen. Susan Collins@SenatorCollins·
Passage of the Department of Homeland Security funding package brings us closer to ending the reckless and harmful shutdown of DHS that Democrats triggered when they walked away from the bipartisan funding bill for the Department. That original bill contained new safeguards and oversight to protect the American public and our law enforcement, including additional funding for body-worn cameras and deescalation training. Over the past five weeks, Republicans have made repeated attempts to reach bipartisan consensus to reopen the Department. Republicans offered proposals to expand the use of body-worn cameras; limit civil immigration enforcement in sensitive areas such as schools and hospitals; increase oversight of detention facilities; and implement visible officer identification. While Republicans worked in good faith to try to reach agreement, Democrats remained intransigent and unreasonable with their list of demands. Congressional Democrats have done real damage to the appropriations process by repeatedly forcing government shutdowns and refusing to fund entire agencies. Their refusal to fund ICE and Border Patrol leaves our borders and our country less secure and sets a precedent that they may one day come to regret. Today’s action moves us closer to ending the disastrous shutdown at the Department, which has caused chaos at our airports, made us more vulnerable to cyber and terrorist attacks, delayed disaster response to communities in need, and caused thousands of hardworking federal employees to report to work with no guarantee of when they will be paid. Moving forward, I remain committed to ensuring adequate funding to secure our borders.

@LindseyGrahamSC @grok is @LindseyGrahamSC being 100% honest in his statements above? Is Iran not getting $ billions for oil that they get to sell to other countries now that the sanctions have been lifted by the Trump administration?

Lindsey Graham@LindseyGrahamSC·
I know my Democrat colleagues can’t count because of what they’ve done to the budget, but this fake news of “$14 billion for Iran” is a left-wing talking point. Oh and please remember, this is the same Senator who said the people Democrats “care about most are undocumented” immigrants. The Trump administration has taken decisive steps to flood the global market with around 700 million additional barrels of oil—blunting Iran’s ability to use the Strait of Hormuz as a weapon. Allowing limited Iranian oil sales isn’t a concession, it’s leverage. @SecScottBessent is an economic tactician for using Iran’s own resources against them. The ayatollahs aren’t getting a free pass. Any revenue tied to these sales is tightly restricted, and Iran will have a hard time accessing those funds. Meanwhile, the United States will continue to apply maximum pressure and cut off Iran’s access to the global financial system. In real terms, payments for Iranian oil are held in accounts with strict guardrails in the purchasing countries—so Tehran doesn’t get a blank check. Further, the snapback of UN sanctions makes it crystal clear that arms sales to Iran are prohibited. We’re stopping Iran’s bad behavior while strengthening global energy security. That’s exactly the kind of leadership America needs.
Chris Murphy 🟧@ChrisMurphyCT

Good afternoon. This is your daily reminder that Trump just lifted sanctions on Iran to give them $14 BILLION to hep fund their war against us. In other words, your daily reminder that this is probably the dumbest war of all time.

No, there is no evidence that the U.S. government paid $1,000 each for ceremonial signing pens during bill signings. Standard White House pens come from suppliers like A.T. Cross. Retail prices for models used by recent presidents (Century II or Townsend) range $99–$270. Government purchases include distributor discounts, typically under $50–$100 per pen. Trump's anecdote highlights his preference for cheaper Sharpies but overstates prior costs.

@scottjennings Kimmel wasn't complaining that a US SENATOR (one of the 100 governing our Senate, to which you refer) was a plumber. (I actually think having a former plumber as one of our Senator is quite an advantage)... Kimmel was making a point that the new Head of HOMELAND SECURITY was a plumber. I agree with you, I would rather have 100 plumbers in the Senate than 100 comedians... HOWEVER, Mullin has no military experience (that anyone in our government knows about). Mullin has no law enforcement experience. Mullin was NEVER a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence during his time in the U.S. Senate -- which is odd that he is now Head of Homeland Security with no Intelligence experience... Mullin was never on the House Intelligence Committee during a key 2016 trip, as he lied about in recent hearings... He is great at managing a plumbing company and as a Senator, but those skills don't translate to HEAD OF HOMELAND SECURITY.

Montblanc, Cartier, Pelikan. The U.S. government has no established practice of handing out $1,000 ballpoint pens to children. Trump's anecdote refers to ceremonial pens used during White House bill signings in his administration, which he said he replaced with inexpensive Sharpies.

Trump: You see this pen right here? This pen is very inexpensive. But it writes well. I like it. Sharpie. I came here. They had $1,000 pens. You hand out pens. You hand them to people. 30, 40 people. They were $1,000 a piece. Beautiful pen, ball point. I hand out to kids that don't know. It's kid getting a pen for $1,000. They have no idea what it is. I had another problem. They didn’t write well. I sign—no ink. I have all you people looking and say there must be something wrong with Trump. There is no ink in the pen. It cost $1,000.

Taking a successful small family business w/ 6 employees and turning it into a company with over 300 employees and $20 million in annual sales is impressive. What is not impressive is a guy who threatens Congressional hearing witnesses to duels. What is not impressive is a guy who lies about being in a Top Secret military group appointed by Congress (although no one in Congress knows about this), tasked with Top Secret missions that not even the President knew about.

I'm not going to dis AOC's B.A., but do you really think earning a bachelor's degree is a more impressive achievement than taking a small family business w/ 6 employees and turning it into a company with over 300 employees and $20 million in annual sales? If so, you're an idiot.

AOC graduated with honors from Boston University with double degrees in Economics and International Relations. Markwayne was the only Senator without even a bachelor’s degree. Hope that helps.

@Jim_Jordan Ohio State University's team doctor Richard Strauss spent his time: -Abusing 177 males students. -Having assistant coaches like Jim Jordan cover for him by lying about knowing of Strauss' abuse. -Having assistant coach Jim Jordan call Adam DiSabato, crying and groveling, begging Adam to go against his brother (who had publicly accused Jordan of covering up the abuse).

@sshermes @BasedMikeLee @SenMikeLee Yes, Sen. Mike Lee is truthful. The scaled-down version proposed via unanimous consent was a simple photo ID requirement to vote in federal elections, with no citizenship-verification measures (unlike the full SAVE America Act). All Senate Democrats blocked it by objecting.

Romans 12 does NOT mention "kingdoms", "earth" or "leaders". Why would a Christian blatantly lie about this? Romans 12:10 "Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor." Romans 12:13  "Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality." Romans 12:14 "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them." Romans 12:16  "Live in harmony with one another." Romans 12:17  "Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all." Romans 12:18 "If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all." Romans 12:20  To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Romans 12 = Love one another with brotherly affection. seek to show hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Live in harmony with one another. Live peacefully with all. Feed your enemy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
