@Kurt_Haeusler As any process, status meetings are training wheels that will eventually drop off or evolve as team matures. Their value is to aid forgetful and biased human brain, like reminders, checklists and alarms.

@ScalaWilliam @JeremyKorwin @ScalaAlgorithms Glad to hear that. My influence was practicing TDD code katas and discussing different approaches with the software craftsmanship community. Implementing algos is perfect for learning TDD.
English

@JeremyKorwin @ScalaAlgorithms To me, TDD was 2 stages:
- Influence/motivation (external)
- Persistent refinement & experimentation (myself)
My major external influence was an ex-colleague who really tested my testing skills to the limits (@sshishkin).
English

I find #TDD (test-driven development) a LOT more fun in #Scala.
Why?
#ScalaTest gifts me with debugging information, like see below.
and of course, @ScalaAlgorithms are much easier to implement with TDD. Example:

@BjoernRochel Team topologies in a big enterprise? Agility myths and realities in a big enterprise?
English

@BjoernRochel That would make me sad too. And also curious to find out what environment the team prefers.
English

@BjoernRochel I think that happens if security overall is afterthought. Cloud might obscure a bit. But s3:GetObject * says it all.

@BjoernRochel That resonates a lot lately. I find particularly inspiring how e.g. Dalio’s principles and Basecamp approach org design from evolutionary perspective with deliberation and guided by values
