Capitalism isn’t perfect, but it’s the only engine we’ve seen that creates value. Create first, and distribute second. Reverse the order, and we distribute scarcity. Helps no one.
Major corporate CEOs like Zomato are now using ChatGPT to do crisis comms / PR (and it’s working!). This was a job for a senior tenured marketing graduate before. Most don’t notice AI writing in the wild but it’s changing how humans communicate before our very eyes.
Grifters need to quit lying about “OpenAI injecting ads into ChatGPT answers.” Sam Altman spelled it out with a hotel example and it destroys their whole narrative. • If ChatGPT recommended a worse hotel just because it got paid, trust would die instantly. • Altman literally says that model is suicide. Not happening. • Search engines do that stuff because ads are their business. That’s why the incentives are warped. • ChatGPT’s incentive is the opposite. You pay for accuracy, not for sponsored garbage. • The only model he endorses: ChatGPT finds the actual best hotel, you book in one click, OpenAI takes a flat fee that’s the same for everyone. No pay-to-win. No manipulation. Anyone claiming “ChatGPT will shove ads in your answers” is not warning you. They’re just farming outrage clicks.
📣Hiring Product Designers Good designers are a cheat code. They are dreamers + doers. Their thinking is unconstrained and some times, the right kind of unhinged. Which is why AI-native designers are lethal. Weapons of mass creation. They can dream->design->prototype->test. They are not beholden to wet blanket engineers or product managers, who think their ideas are unviable. And that’s the kind of designer we are looking for. Driven, creative, proficient.
