perhaps this is bait but I'll assume good faith intent this is incorrect zcash doesn't offer optional privacy, it offers optional transparency coins are born in shielded pool and the wallet with 99% of the use shields everything by default (and requires it for operations) privacy is not secrecy, it's the individual having a choice in what they reveal to the world example: you may take a picture on your phone. it's private and encrypted. then you choose to share it on socials if you want. monero is not "fully private", it's "private enough". mixers are prone to tons of attacks. they do not encrypt, they obfuscate. the reason it's used in DN is because that's their network effect, it was much more usable for payments than a brand-new ZK system with tons of usability issues same reason why merchants prefer USDT on Tron over something like Solana even though the tech is not comparable zcash is encrypted SoV with cross-chain payments. the privacy comes from value at rest. it's more like BTC than Tron in any case, there is zero reason why there would just be one privacy coin

the reason why zcash will fail is because it offers optional privacy a lot of the usage is not anonymous so it’s easier to trace out “anonymous” txns for example, monero is fully private and is used on the darknet (by ppl who need the most privacy) seems like a winner takes all type of situation, can’t be 2 go to privacy coins … what do you think .@mert ?
