@ClareLou1878 I’m hoping they get something sorted, I’d love to run a Liverpool marathon, if not I’ll just take my custom elsewhere. It’s a shame really, Manchester was booming 2 weeks ago and the benefit to the city must have been massive. There’s no real reason Liverpool could host something

@ClareLou1878 BTR have said they may have news later this year about potentially staging one. Think they have a difficult position with Manchester and Chester being so close and very popular marathons. Build it and they will come I say.

@ClareLou1878 Approx 14k either never started or didn’t finish Manchester yesterday. Was scary the amount of people who weren’t prepared, the running boom is great but the step up from Parkrun or a 10k shouldn’t be taken so lightly.

The breakfasts are not free. They are paid for by taxes - mostly on parents who feed their own kids. Most of these 10,000 children would have had a perfectly healthy breakfast at home without these clubs. This isn't about helping the poorest kids, it's the state taking over the basic job of parenting.

Anyone who doesn't understand the magnitude of being 33 mins (plus 10 added!) off relegation this lays it out clear. While at the time most understood the situation was bad, many didn't really know just how grave it was. Without those players & manager that day you dread to think

Yeah the club should have listened to the fans and community, cos the amount of times I’d heard fellas in the Gwladys st and down county road go “ohhh god I could murder a rare pale ale m&s crisp and a Venezuelan dark chocolate right now” 🫠🫠🫠

The stuff they're going to sell isn't beer, just as Cadbury's confectionary isn't chocolate. I also expect some good quality Venezuelan dark chocolate, 70-75%. Plus, M&S crisps.
