@Ionoclast50 @harryjsisson @JDVance Thanks for posting, I mostly agree. But the secession by South Carolina WAS about slavery, precipitated by the election of a Republican president, the party being anti-slavery. South Carolina made it clear that slavery was the reason for secession.
