After last night’s disastrous game against the Mammoth, the Oilers, on the second half of a back to back, hold the San Jose Sharks to just 14 shots on goal and win 5-2. One of the most suffocating defensive performances I’ve seen from this group. 3/3 on the PP and 5 pts from McD!

@LastDynasty69 @AustinHockeyYT Coffey has majorly changed how this teams defends and you could arguably say it mightve saved knoblauchs ass again, knoblauchs seat was really hot coming out of the Olympic break.

@st3ea1th93 @AustinHockeyYT Pretty sure if Coffey tried to coach this team alone he'd fail spectacularly cause he doesn't even Coach Xs and Os. That said, Coff is obviously valuable to the team, but to dimiss EVERYTHING else and give Coffey all the credit is dumb.

I personally dont have a problem with connor mcdavid calling out the coach you have been with ths oilers since they drafted you in 2015 have done incredible stuff in the sport in your career that hasnt been done in decades signed a contract extension this past offseason 1/2
