@samgeorgegh Mocking another country culture by a serving member of parliament is very childish,,when Zambian people mock the fugu,,our president came out to show solidarity by declaring a fugu but here u r mocking South African culture,,
“They are forcibly demolishing our structures without any prior notice. If the NDC government wants us to venture into prostitution or robbery to survive, we hear. It’s our fault for voting for them.”
— A trader at Pankrono Atimatim Junction in the Ashanti Region laments in a video she shared showing the demolition exercise being carried out by the Assembly, asserting that no prior notice was given and threatening to vote against the NDC in 2028
The Ghana Immigration Service has initiated a major operation across several locations in Accra to arrest undocumented migrants who have entered the country without the required paperwork.
Many of these undocumented individuals are largely women and children who resort to street begging in various parts of Accra as a means of survival, often exposing themselves to harsh living conditions, exploitation, and significant safety risks.

@dr_bandak I worked on a project, where my higher up was my junior in the university
I shake am for site paaaa, but it is all love
We had a successful project
Glory be to God
We both attended the same high school and were in the same year group.
We had not seen each other since we graduated some 2 decades ago.
Until this day
I had been posted as the medical officer in charge of a battalion unit.
One afternoon, I was in the consulting room, and the nurse walked in with a folder.
→ The name sounded so familiar.
I was right… he was my high school mate and was coming for a routine check.
→ He walked in and, as usual, saluted,
“Good afternoon, sir.”
It felt awkward, but in the military, you respect the rank… so
I responded as I should.
He then called me by my high school nickname 🤣.
→ We had a pleasant chat.
About time in high school and life after high school
My staff were surprised why I was casually chatting with "other rank" or a non-officer (he was a sergeant at that time (army) & I was in the air force (Flight Lieutenant)
→ I told them that I have seen enough to know that rank/position is usually temporary.
The relationship you build with people might stay forever
——-
Fun fact: In the military, you salute the rank before even looking at who is wearing the uniform.”
I salute my medical school classmates who joined the military earlier than I did when I meet them in the hospital.”
But on our class WhatsApp page, we put aside the ranks.
@DavidAd53166329@THESTATENEWSS I am from the north, Bawku precisely, but I agree with you on the massive military base but not all of us are stupid 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mahama Ayariga and Hassan Ayariga are both from my constituency
@THESTATENEWSS A massive military base should be mounted in the northern region either in bawku or bolgatanga. Excuse me to say but some of those people up there in the north are just stupid

A Ghana Armed Forces convoy escorting 140 civilians from Bawku to Bolgatanga came under attack on Monday, May 27, 2026, at Binduri by unknown gunmen.
Three civilians were killed and one injured, while the military repelled the attack, killing seven of the assailants, according to a statement signed by Naval Captain Veronica Arhin.
@THESTATENEWSS I don't know why, we can't deploy more military to clear the place ones and fore all, they should do house to house checks and fish out the those hiding weapons and deal with them swiftly
