@buckethatbtc Locally for the sites, and it's never easy. I've interviewed hundreds of people for multiple relatively small sites. Most of our techs were interested in computers/tech but never thought they'd get a hands-on job in the space until we built a mining facility in their area.

Hot take: you should sell your bitcoin. There is only one thing you own that is more finite, scarce, and irreplaceable - and that is your time. I bought property on an off-grid island ~8 years ago. I put off doing any meaningful development on it as I waited for the price of Bitcoin to appreciate. It’s always been a dream of mine to build a resort/third space on it for aligned people (like Bitcoiners) to hang out, explore nature, have deep meaningful conversations and escape the city noise. When I turned 30 last year - I realized I didn’t have a ton of time between now and when I begin to raise a family to build that space. It was either - wait for BTC to appreciate so I can hand the entire project/vision off to someone else, or sell some BTC and get started on it with the window of time/opportunity I have NOW. Earlier this year I sold… or… spent, a serious amount of my BTC for the first time in a while to start building this thing. Next week we’re going to be putting in windows/doors and electrical. The coolest part? I didn’t need to interface with a bank to do any of this. With @bitrefill , I was able to clear large sums of BTC into physical goods and supplies through stores like Home Depot, Wayfair, etc. They even give 1-10% cashback in BTC too, which is HUGE. Long story short, you should definitely have a low time preference with BTC - but chart your goals.... and make sure the price of Bitcoin isn’t a 1, 2 or 5 year firewall on your path to building towards them! Looking forward to opening the PNW Bitcoin Micro Resort in 2028 😁
