Verification is a public service, it is a good deed performed by companies who contribute very little good to the world in my opinion. We should be making easier clearer paths to verification for everyone, not making it harder. It is their responsibility, not a business model.

Ridiculous framing. You're required to have a process server deliver court papers. The process server is responsible for when and where the papers are served in person. If they can't easily get access to you, they'll get creative.

This Quantum Leap remake is going to be interesting to see how it's handled. Watching the original recently, the main concept has issues with consent that I had to ignore as a product of its time. I wonder how they'll make it work today.
