Like he hadn’t just built a whole routine around something… or someone. My hands were shaking, but I got up anyway. Walked to the window. Moved the curtain just enough to see outside. There was a car parked across the street. Headlights off. Engine running. And right as I was trying to convince myself I was overthinking it The phone buzzed again. “If you’re not coming out, I’m coming in.” That’s when I heard it. A soft knock. Not on the front door. On the bedroom window.

My boyfriend started putting his phone on airplane mode every night at exactly 10:17pm At first, I thought it was a productivity thing. He said he wanted better sleep, fewer distractions. It sounded healthy. Mature, even. But then I noticed something strange. It didn’t matter what we were doing.. watching a movie, mid-conversation, even in the middle of laughing.. at 10:17, he’d pause everything, pick up his phone, and turn it off. No explanation. No flexibility. Last night, I asked him why that specific time. He hesitated. Then said, “It just works for me.” But later, when he fell asleep, I turned his phone back on. And the first notification that came through made my stomach drop.

Always laugh when I hear people say United have the FA in their pockets. Never forget when Rooney got a 2 game ban so he missed the semi final against city. Pretty sure no one has had a 2 game ban ever since
