What I liked most about this "movement" that has shades ofAAP 2.0 is the sleight of hand. Founder and key backers reside abroad. The aim starts with BJP bashing and ends with calls for anarchical uprising, and the name, taken from the comment of someone who's got nothing to do with politics, is designed to create an impression that it is the BJP that's calling the angry youth "cockroaches".

কিন্তু তিনটি বিষয় দিনের আলোর মতো স্পষ্ট : ১) ভারতের তরুণ প্রজন্ম ক্ষুব্ধ। প্রবল ক্ষুব্ধ। এই ক্ষোভ কেবলমাত্র মোদী সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে নয়, গোটা ব্যবস্থার বিরুদ্ধে। ২) নবারুণের সেই কথা, কোথায় কখন কীভাবে বিস্ফোরণ হবে, তা জানতে রাষ্ট্রের এখনও বাকি আছে৷ ৩) একুশ শতকের ভারতে বিদ্রোহের ভাষা অন্যরকম৷ রাজপথেই হোক বা ডিজিটাল পরিসরে- প্রতিবাদ হবে নতুন ভাষায়, নতুন আঙ্গিকে।
সরকার চায় না তরুণপ্রজন্ম রেগে উঠুক৷ বিশুদ্ধ, প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক বিদ্রোহীরা চান, রাগ হোক তাঁদের ম্যানুয়াল অনুযায়ী৷ কিন্তু প্রেমের মতো বিদ্রোহও কোনও ম্যানুয়াল মানে না৷ সে ভুল করে। ব্যর্থ হয়। কখনও প্রতিক্রিয়াশীল শক্তিকে সাহায্য করে ফেলে। নিজের আগুনে নিজেই পুড়ে যায়। আবার কখনও নতুন সম্ভাবনার দরজাও খুলে দেয়। সামনে অনেক লড়াই ঘাত প্রতিঘাতের মধ্যে দিয়েই এই আরশোলাদের এগিয়ে যেতে হবে। দেখা যাক কি হয় ?

সেদিন থেকে টানা প্রায় পাঁচ দিন চেম্বার থেকে ঠিকমতো বেরোতেই পারিনি। রাজ্যের বিভিন্ন জেলা থেকে একের পর এক খবর আসছিল। যতটা সম্ভব আইনি সহায়তা পৌঁছে দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করেছি। তারপর আমাদের কার্যকর্তাদের সুরক্ষা ও ন্যায়বিচারের জন্য একের পর এক মামলা করতে হয়েছে।
সেই সময় যে ধরনের পাশবিক অত্যাচার হয়েছে, তা আজও স্মৃতিতে স্পষ্ট। আর এটাও মনে আছে— সেই ঘটনার পরে কারা উল্লাস করেছিল।
সব রত্নাকর বাল্মিকী হয় না। আজ যারা নিজেদের বদলে যাওয়ার গল্প শোনাতে চাইছে, তাদেরও ভুলিনি।
আমরা বদলার রাজনীতি করি না। কিন্তু তাই বলে অন্যায়, অত্যাচার আর সেই সময়ের ভূমিকা ভুলে যাওয়াও উচিত নয়।
