@agodliveshere The gospel according to John draws the reader in from the very first chapter and verse. You are compelled to dwell on the beauty and mystery you are reading. I remember when I was frozen on “in Him was life, and the life was the light of men.”

I told someone recently, when in doubt, read the book of John. While others gave accounts of what they witnessed, John gave an account too but added his convictions, his revelation, and his encounter.
Other Apostles told us about the Lord; John showed Him to us.
