Misconception #1: "Picard's ready room crystal appears in 78 episodes of #StarTrekTNG". Nope, it appears more often and is seen here in "The Best of Both Worlds II". I have counted 94 appearances (I'll let you know if I find more!), meaning the crystal is seen in more than half of all the episodes of #TNG. 🧵 1/3

@starfleetboy I was lucky enough to attend a speech of his at the RI film festival a few years ago. I think just a year before he passed. Also sitting about 3 feet away from Karen Allen too. But his presentation and slides were awesome.

@TheStingisBack This was a pretty dumb show, but you have to give Shatner credit for doing a lot (not all!) of his stunts when he was in his 50’s, and this was before the days of having teams of physiotherapists and whatnot at your beck and call.

TJ Hooker premiered OTD in 1982.
Shatner’s cop was a famously terrible driver, constantly wrecking police cars, basically the Frank Drebin of “serious” cop shows. Heather Locklear shot this and Dynasty at the same time: Stacy Sheridan by morning, glamorous Sammy Jo by night.

@starfleetboy I’m right there with you. I did not think I would enjoy it as much as I did. I think nine episodes were brilliant quality productions. One being just good but not as good as the others. Can’t wait for season two, and the final two seasons of SNW. Hope the Kurtzman era continues.

It’s new #StarTrek day tomorrow and as the Starfleet Academy season comes to a close I must say it’s been a lot more fun than I thought it would be and I’m excited for season 2! One more episode to go, can’t wait to hear what my fellow Star Trek lovers think!🖖🏽✨
