Share this view of Miami boom feeling Miami has the alt health metrics for a city: Family oriented -% of population children -How integrated children are into day to day life Civic art & beauty -Public art (whether art is good or not) Miami has ongoing investment in public beauty, art everywhere, etc Influx of people -People moving from multiple other states/countries to be there Government that wants a better life for its citizens -Govt that appears focused on making its city & people happier and more successful in an ever better environment Industry cluster for something central and/or compounding -May be the weakest on this. Strong on tourism, real estate, LATAM/international trade. Some finance and tech moving there, but still not a major cluster for something central or compounding fast yet

Miamiposting might be a phenomenon whose time has passed, but having just spent a few days visiting, it really does feel like a boomtown in a way that no other American city that I've spent time in over the past few years does. In some ways, it reminds me of Chinese cities.

This Instagram Reels AI agent is absolutely wild 🤯 It scrapes trending Reels in your niche, analyzes them with AI, and extracts every creative insight you need. All inside n8n + Airtable. Perfect for DTC brands & agencies who need to know what's working on Instagram before they create content. Here's the problem: Manual Instagram research takes forever. You're scrolling for hours, screenshotting videos, manually noting hooks, trying to remember what worked. And by the time you act on it, the trend is dead. This n8n automation solves it: → Enter a keyword (e.g., "skincare", "fitness", "productivity") → AI scrapes trending Instagram Reels automatically → Writes all videos to Airtable with views, likes, comments → Click "Analyze Video" button in Airtable → Gemini watches each video and extracts: Hook, Proof Point, Theme → Click "Analyze Comments" for instant comment insights No manual scrolling. No spreadsheets. No missing trends. What you get in Airtable: → Video URL, creator handle, performance metrics → AI-extracted hooks (what stopped the scroll) → Proof points (what built credibility) → Creative themes (the narrative structure) → Comment insights (what the audience is asking) Built 100% in n8n. Want the complete n8n template + Airtable base? > Comment "REELS" > Like this post And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)

@asanwal So many of the aha moments come from the process and nuance in the research. Will be interesting to see impact on next generation. Although no one will miss getting docked points for APA bibliography citations

AI is not going to meaningfully change education It will certainly enrich some companies as schools love to buy fancy tech BUT, AI doesn't solve the fundamental problems of motivation, teaching the right things or handling for the perverse incentives in our schools

i'm the kind of consumer that does a lot of research into the things that i buy. from big ticket items to small. this means lots of youtube/reddit/forum content. it's often a total pain in the ass to find and synthesize all of this content, particularly since it reflects some really fundamental aspects of what i like. i have been working on a team of agents to help me do this (watch volumes of content, review volumes of discussion) while reflecting my own personal tastes. if you are a person who operates this way. would this not help? it's not making ultimate buying decisions for me, but performing a full fledged vendor/product analysis for me that results in a nice neat explorable package of information.

Hot take 🔥: I think there is a huge overinflated perception of how interested consumers are in having AI Agents do shopping / browsing tasks for them. People generally want agents that will do the boring parts for them, but many of those tasks tend to be higher risk...

We're excited to unveil our next big release, which is brimming with features: Marqo 2.5.0! 🎉 New features: +New 'embed' endpoint (#803). Marqo can now perform inference and return the embeddings for a single piece or list of content, where content can be either a string or weighted dictionary of strings. + New 'recommend' endpoint. (#816). Given a list of existing document IDs, Marqo can now recommend similar documents by performing a search on interpolated vectors from the documents. + Add Inference Cache to speed up frequent search and embed requests (#802). Marqo now caches embeddings generated during inference. The cache size and type can be configured with 'MARQO_INFERENCE_CACHE_SIZE' and 'MARQO_INFERENCE_CACHE_TYPE'. + Add configurable search timeout (#813). Backend timeout now defaults to 1s, but can be configured with the environment variable 'VESPA_SEARCH_TIMEOUT_MS'. + More informative 'get_cuda_info' response (#811). New keys: 'utilization' & 'memory_used_percent' have been added for easier tracking of cuda device status. ℹ️ For more information, usage and configuration, check out the release notes: github.com/marqo-ai/marqo… 🛠 Bug fixes and minor changes: + Upgraded 'open_clip_torch', 'timm', and 'safetensors' for access to new models (#810). 💖 Contributor shout-outs: + Shoutout to all our 4.1k stargazers! Thanks for continuing to use our product and helping Marqo grow. + Keep on sharing your questions and feedback on our forum and Slack channel! @philwinkle For visual categories where you have an idea of what you want, but can't describe it until you "see it" - I think there's a major opportunity here for a new interface that can blend discovery with intent 👀
