What a beautiful thing. TMZ is how these people deserve to get covered. Not with the weepy piety of hill reporters who all have politicians in their profile pictures but sicko, unhinged papparazzi who believe in nothing.
Violet@JiraViolet

NEW: TMZ has decided to up their presence in the political space — they’ve even added a Hill team. “Our DC presence will be sometimes fun, sometimes intensely serious,” Harvey Levin told @NOTUSreports Comes as TMZ blasts lawmakers for leaving D.C. notus.org/congress/tmz-c…

Today in RPG history... Nippon Ichi and Atlus released Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure for PS1 in NA on Mar 30, 2000. Love the style & the notion of a music-themed comedy JRPG is appealing, but I've yet to check this one out. It was ported in Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 3.

@MikeGardocki @seattletimes Over 130k people moved to the state last year… population intake has slowed, but the state also saw over a million people move in over the last decade. People move all the time, some sort of migration is normal (and good).

@NewsM101 If not for Elon Musk, we’d all be living the Bluesky experience daily. They nearly succeeded in taking their toxic ideology offline and into the real world.

@abc15 @Garrett_Archer These sorts of “monuments” are a waste of time, if you want to remember the man there’s more meaningful ways of doing so then being pandered to by worthless politicians who are wasting time/money on things like renaming highways for people.

@JuiceMan_V I don't get how physical fans can't see that key cards, while not what we'd prefer, is *still* a better compromise than the alternative of *no* physical option... and price parity hasn't saved physical. Digital SHOULD be cheaper.

Nintendo is the only publisher/developer using expensive cart technology for their hybrid device. They made key cards to appease publishers who don't want to foot the bill for that and developed a wedge. between physical and the looming all digital future. What you said makes no sense.

This is not a pro consumer move at all. They’re not discounting digital games. They’re just taxing physical games It’s all an attempt to kill the physical market so they have total control of the price of games through their store front. No second hand market. No real ownership.

@BoundaryBreak Price parity hasn't saved physical sales from seeing a decline, so... no. Digital is selling a convenience factor firstly. We've been arguing for eons that digital titles *should* be cheaper, its also the only real competitive way Nintendo can decrease entry for the consumer.

Being a gamer since the 90s and seeing how companies execute 10 year plans; here's how i speculate this will go: Step 1: Over Price games. Step 2: Make Digital games artificially cheaper. (We are here) Step 3: Get majority users to buy digital. Step 4: Abandon physical next generation since majority audience has been conditioned to purchase digitally. Expect cope comments like "Who needed physical anyway? Digital has been the cheaper option for awhile now" Step 5: Over Price Digital games. Step 6: Check Mate. You no longer have a free market to trade or buy or sell preowned games. And now the market value of video games is 100% in the hands on the corporations. Younger people wont even question it. It'll be a culture ingrained in their childhoods.

Nintendo announced that starting with Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, digital and physical games will have different prices: "Beginning in May 2026, and starting with preorders for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, new Nintendo published digital titles exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2 will have an MSRP that is different from physical versions. Nintendo games offer the same experiences whether in packaged or digital format, and this change simply reflects the different costs associated with producing and distributing each format and offers players more choice in how they can buy and play Nintendo games. As always, retail partners set their own prices for physical and digital games, and pricing for each title may vary." Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is $69.99 physical & $59.99 digital. en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/de…
