@BiblicalBeauty I read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy at that age and became a reader for life. I don't recommend watching the movies first.

Any recommendations for a quality book series for a soon-to-be 15 year-old girl that are enjoyable to read and aren’t woke, perverse, or otherwise cruddy in content? She has enjoyed books like Nancy Drew, Wingfeather Saga, and Chronicles of Narnia in the past.

@JoChandler45859 @ronsterd89 In grade school we had to ditch the pants worn under our dresses as soon as we came into school out of the cold. Heaven forbid we be seen wearing pants! Everything changed by Junior High and we could wear jeans, hip huggers with bell bottoms.

Me! Where I lived, we could only wear pants UNDER our dresses when it was very cold! In middle school they relented and we could wear “pant suits”…matching pieces and the top had to cover your butt. By my senior year we were allowed to wear jeans. Which was actually a wise choice, because mini skirts were the rage then and we had teachers and principals with measuring sticks to make sure we were following regulations.

Every public high school in America should be teaching how credit cards work, how to get a mortgage, and what mutual funds are and how they function. 16th century English literature is great, but how about equipping our children with what they need in the REAL world.
