My favorite Nick Saban stat: Even if you exclude Alabama’s 6 national title-winning seasons under Saban, the Tide still have the best overall win pct in the FBS since the start of the 2009 season (.864).

Seeing a lot of "this century" used to describe stats all of a sudden. Did crossing over into 2026 and past the first quarter-century make this range usable now? What's the line for saying "this century"?

@ChrisVannini Same way it's better to say "over the last 20 seasons" than "since 2006"

@ChrisVannini For me, it was a way to make the note the focus--If you use a specific year, the immediate question is "why 2000?" If you use "this century," the cutoff is less notable.
