For redundancy: Thanks for the retweet, Gary. Trump himself posted multiple times about Candace recently, so your claim that the US government doesn’t take her seriously is ridiculous. If she was so irrelevant, why would Trump waste his time talking about her? Also, no one saying “if they don’t deny it, it’s true”. We are simply using logic to point out that if it weren’t true, they WOULD just come out and say so. It would take less than 60 seconds to prepare a statement. Stop thinking about Candace for 30 seconds and think about the hundreds of thousands or more Americans who have now heard this claim. It is in OUR interest for the White House to comment and clarify, you fucking moron. This appeal to authority thing you do keeps backfiring on you, but you just keep doubling down. I actually believe Rogan’s apology to Theo. I think he does actually get concerned for people and doesn’t realize the negative and massive impact it has on people when he does that. He did a similar thing to me and for a while I thought it was nefarious to fuck up my career and start a narrative that I’m “at risk.” Because it was so not true and compared to the stuff he jokes about it was nothing. Years later, after watching him apologize to Theo, I think what it is, is Joe gets treated like the patriarch of the comedy world and it’s expected that he protects and gives guidance to everyone. It never occurred to me that it wasn’t betrayal, he’s just not great at that. I wouldn’t be great at that either it sounds super hard. He’s just a guy, he doesn’t know the future, he has all his own fears and mental issues. Losing people to depression and not seeing it coming can actually make someone even worse at dealing with it or seeing the signs because of the trauma. Maybe he legit thinks these things and just sucks at reading artistic type dudes. Either way, apologizing and acknowledging you’re wrong is always the best move to get people to give you the benefit of the doubt. He never did to me but in his defense I immediately started calling him a gay dwarf for years. So I get it. Him apologizing is actually what a strong patriarch would do. The public concern spiraling is something he should not ever do moving forward cuz it does have very negative effects and he’s not good at it
