My overarching view (and I appreciate it’s not universally accepted, let’s face it, nothing is on here anymore) is that the daylight rule would be superior to this. I don’t feel you should be offside by a toe or a nose, if you’re level, you’re on. That’s basically what it was before VAR and I think it would be better.

Pulling an opponent as they’re about to clear off the line is same as professional foul as a defender. Not arguing with the decision, just pointing out gap in the law/logic

It’s impossible to “deny a goal” - for which the punishment is a red card - if the goal is actually scored (and Pawson gave the goal on the field).
