@KobieThatcher Why would you want anyone to have the ability to control what you can and can’t wear? You start with the burqa and then some ultra conservative gets into power and wants to ban skirts, bikinis, low cut tops etc. Wear what you want and others wear what they want.

Hi guys, just letting you know that you work all week, but only get to keep 3 days pay, Albanese steals the other 2 days pay, calls it taxation. Then he gets you on everything you buy, GST, (double dipping) Albanese works 4 hours per week, and is paid $11,870 per week.

@aaronsmith @Matt_Camenzuli Let’s say $20 of every pack is tax. I smoke 4 packs a week. $80 a week x 52 $4k for easy numbers. Over 30 years $120k. So in tax I have paid twice the treatment. Not the taxpayer me. Want to know why they won’t cut the tax? Coz non smokers would have to pay more tax as well.

@Matt_Camenzuli It is an individual choice. But it is also true that lung cancer rates have fallen dramatically in step with declining smoking rates. In Australia, treating one person with lung cancer in the public system costs about $60,000 — a cost ultimately carried by taxpayers.

Cigarettes need to get back to 25 dollars a packet to compete. The excise needs to be cut far more. They also have to stop the plain packaging garbage. The imports taste better. People will always smoke, it's not the governments job.

Anthony Albanese is being urged to slash tobacco excise by half amid warnings it has created the world's "worst" illicit tobacco market and ripped $11 billion from the federal budget. skynews.com.au/australia-news…

@smars9761 Simple, mozer is young as is cam, billy 34 probably won’t get a deal for next year. Hunt who knows. So literally he is only fallback option and he is on low $$$ to do a job.

Ativalu Lisati has been ruled out for the Storm in Round 3 after suffering a calf injury at training. He is expected to miss around 4 weeks. Likely moderate grade calf strain (partial muscle tear) with that recovery timeframe - usual return to play range of 3-6 weeks.

@kayosports why since your stupid update does the app and the website not fucking work. I’m paying for something that just doesn’t load. For the price you charge and the increase this year you could have someone who isn’t the work experience kid to do it so they don’t break it.

Rumour has it a certain individual is quietly working to fracture the Liberal Party, reportedly encouraging sitting MPs to defect into a new Teals style outfit led by a former senior Liberal figure. I won’t be naming names but you can probably work it out. Frankly I hope it happens, I would love to see the Liberal party break up!!

Dear President Trump @realDonaldTrump I am sorry to inform you that Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has become a national disgrace. His personal hatred of you has now officially ended our long-standing alliance. Albanese has thrown you under the bus at the very moment you needed reliable partners to keep the oil flowing and maintain global stability. Despite all the heavy lifting you have done, he has flatly refused to provide any support. You will no doubt remember this betrayal. Albanese is a weak and petty leader, the very opposite of the strong, decisive leadership you have shown the world. From a concerned Australian, I can tell you that the vast majority of my countrymen agree with you far more than they agree with him. In fact, 98% of Australian voters wish you were the Prime Minister of Australia. This is not the Australia you have known. Albanese does not speak for all of us. With regret and respect, A Concerned Australian Citizen

@OMGTheMess So we have to be a reliable partner but the US don’t? He put tariffs on everyone, belittled all his “partners” and now expects everyone to come running. Reap what you sow.

The Albanese decision not to send a warship is potentially the worst national decision ever made. We are no longer a reliable partner.

@RL_Guru Halves cannot do shit when forwards go nowhere and you complete at 60%. Andrew John’s, Thurston, Lockyer, Cleary, none of them could do anything if there packs don’t go forward and they dont hold the ball.

Biggest question facing the Eels heading into the future is who will be the 6 after Pezet, I’ll tell ya what the Eels NSW Cup halves in Lorenzo Talataina and Te Hurinui Twidle put on a show this arvo. Plenty of talent there Eels fans, timing might just be perfect for these two.

@antonposa @rocaroca04 Don’t need to book mark it. It probably will happen particularly in wake of lomax. I just think it sucks for warriors that there only option is getting someone if someone wants to go there instead of getting a player they really want.

Cam George want a player for Barnett. So I've looked at the clubs reportedly in the hunt and picked a realistic target out. Do you agree, Warriors fans? Broncos - D Mariner Knights - M Croker / G Marzhew Eels - B Simonsson Sea Eagles - E Bullemor Dragons - L King-Tongia

@antonposa @rocaroca04 That’s my point. Why would you not want money to then buy a player that strengthens your squad instead of a reserve depth player?

@steady19871 @rocaroca04 I'd actually be okay with a guy like that. NRL ready. And in a position we're short in (centre). Like I said, we're not going out to get a like for like player. It's just about using it as an opportunity to make the squad stronger. I bet we get a winger though.

@antonposa @rocaroca04 Think of Perth and PNG. Like the warriors will face constant players wanting to leave for family reasons and home sickness. There needs to be something in place to help all of you. The current system doesn’t do that.

@steady19871 @rocaroca04 We recruit players every year from other clubs. There will be someone who will want to come. Remember - some players actually want out of their current deals. Either because they hate the coach or they're underpaid. There are lots of potential motivators. It will 100% happen.

@steady19871 @rocaroca04 You're all thinking about this way too much. Imagine a 22 year old guy slogging away in Cup, but in an NRL's top 30 roster. They tell him he can go to the Warriors and be a first grader because of the Barnett deal. He's not going to kick stones is he?
