🇬🇧 British student Henry Nowak gets randomly stabbed by a Sikh guy with a legally permitted ceremonial sword. Cops arrived, the attacker claimed “racial abuse,” so they arrest the bleeding victim. Nowak died in custody. When this nightmare in the UK ends, save the names and faces of all the officers who helped perpetrate this mess. They should be held accountable for ALL the harm they helped to create. Source: BBC

No, you are not going to lead a boycott of a Christopher Nolan movie, and your attempts to do so just reveal how little cultural influence you actually have.

🇯🇵 Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi gives opinion on mass immigration: “Allowing population to decline would be far worse than welcoming skilled and hardworking immigrants from diverse cultures to fill our labor needs and drive innovation. Protecting GDP growth and economic vitality is more important than clinging to outdated cultural isolation. We can solve our birth rate challenges while embracing immigration as a strength — diverse talent makes Japan stronger, more competitive, and richer. A dynamic, open Japan benefits everyone.” Do you agree? 1. yes 2. no

@steakdriven @Real_Ravenx_ Just ask grok if you want the name (how I learned). Long story short--she falls in with the wrong crowd, gets hooked on drugs and led into prostitution, she gets kicked out of her family and sexually abused by all her classmates, then finally commits suicide by heroin overdose.

@RitzyVT Twin tails and glasses are a great combination. Maybe I should have Nenewyn wear Sylfaena's hairstyle sometime. Holdon....no, wait, maybe I should have done it the other way around and let Sylfie borrow Nenewyn's glasses?

I see no problem with using AI. I'm sorry but as a broke girlie, I'm not spending 100 bucks on an art piece that imma use for one thing and never use it again. now if I was going to sell merch and make a profit off of it. Then I would go to an actual artist and commission someone. I would pay for that!

@gailcweiner It's not remotely economically possible for AI to replace all humans. As human job employment crashes, demand crashes, and thus there is no profit in AI system replacing everyone. Capitalism makes it impossible without complete collapse. So, the economy will collapse first.

@Chronodendron Which is why it can never happen: we've seen what automated moderation does. If a single real person CAN get falsely flagged, then the entire system is wrong and must never be used.

Things are getting out of hand in self-publishing. Amazon and Audible will have to clean up all this AI-generated crap at some point. And many real authors will likely be thrown in the bin along with the fake ones.

Question: Has anyone actually read any of the generated books? Idc about covers, that is marketing material not a soul of an artist. But the written part, has anyone read an AI written story, vs just a bad one? Is it really that common? Seems like a colossal waste of time to generate novels. It isn't like authors make a lot of money, unless it is an actual phenomenon. If you are going to generate stuff and try to earn money, get a 3d printer and cheap plastic. I see kids buying that stuff like candy at 100% or more markup.

@Real_Ravenx_ Since the alternative is ruining your innocence, here’s the cleaned-up explanation. The girl here comes from a super-bleak hentai about her downward spiral into abusive relationships, family breakup, drugs, etc. that starts with her insecurity. Mad scientist here circumvents it

YouTube is that unhinged ex who keeps drunk-texting you at 2am even after you blocked their number, changed yours, and moved to another country. I left. I unlisted everything (no longer public). I told them I was gone. And yet every single morning I wake up to fresh copyright strikes on videos that have been sitting there peacefully for years. They just can’t let you leave in peace. If YouTube were a person, it would have a stack of restraining orders thicker than its Terms of Service and would be heavily medicated in a padded room. This isn’t moderation. This is straight-up breakup revenge harassment. Who else is stuck in YouTube’s “you’ll never leave me” era? Drop your horror stories below. *For the record I paid thousands of $$$ in licensing fees (Epidemic Sound, etc) for all music I used in videos.

@mark_k Futurists promising Utopia are just as bad as leftists. I don't want to live in a labor free society. Mankind has ever suffered and shall continue to suffer. We all need to work.

It bears repeating: you cannot seriously be an AI and technology enjoyer while fully aligning with today’s left. The modern left has become the political home of anti-technology, deceleration, overregulation, and reflexive AI panic. Every major leap forward is treated as a threat first and an opportunity second. AI should be seen as one of the greatest tools for abundance, medicine, education, productivity, and human flourishing. Instead, much of the left talks about it like it’s mainly a labor threat, a misinformation machine, or something that needs to be slowed down before it can change too much. At some point, you have to choose: progress or stagnation. Acceleration or fear. Building the future or endlessly trying to regulate it out of existence.

Sanders and AOC introduced a bill to pause ALL AI data center construction. 300+ local bills filed. Half of planned 2026 data centers facing delays or cancellation. Each one brings billions to local economies. The people who say they want American jobs are trying to block the biggest job creation engine since the interstate highway system.

In five years the question won't be "can AI make a film?" It'll be "who owns the best original worlds that were built with it?" Start building now and you're not early. You're the foundation.
