The release of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on Steam has pushed the number of peak concurrent players in the past 24 hours up to 150,000. This is the same level as September 2018. Is currently the 4th most played game on Steam. steamcharts.com/app/582010

According to @steamcharts the peak concurrent user (PCCU) count of Borderlands 2 was 124k. So twice as high for Borderlands 3 = ~250k. If Borderlands 3 was a Steam release that'd make it a top 10 game of all time by PCCU. Payday 2 had a similar peak.

The skyrocketing growth of PUBG in China seems to have stopped. I wonder if it's because Tencent picked up the game, so the gamers are waiting for the local launch and/or hoping for a free-to-play version?
