@steb_esteban @luke_leisher_ Yes, I’ve considered that and concluded that it would be an investment that significantly improves that state for that large population of the earth. Partly by accessing more water and minerals to help those people, and partly by having one more planet for them to live in.

@luke_leisher_ I find it’s more the issue that making an extraterrestrial body even begin to be fit for colonization requires resources that would better be spent on trying to better the condition of the people currently living on earth. Like why not solve things like world hunger first.

@luke_leisher_ That’s not all. They need scarcity to achieve regulatory capture and centralization of power. Abundance will disempower them. The abundance of resources of multiple planets is an existential danger to the entire progressive worldview.

This is the future of Canada: Alberta leaves. Québec as well. Saskatchewan follows. The NWT joins Alberta. Yukon too. Nunavut follows. Rural BC chooses Alberta. Vancouver chooses Singapore option. Newfoundland remembers they used to be a country and that they have oil. A weakened and obsolete Canadian rump state remains.

Si los derechos no son naturales (inherentes), entonces no tienes derechos, solo tienes permisos del gobierno que te pueden quitar cuando quieran. @steb_esteban @KamaleonconK_MX Curiosa proyección. Justamente la izquierda busca codificar ideologías subjetivas en leyes obligatorias, restringiendo libertades básicas y la objeción de conciencia.
Defender derechos naturales como la vida no es querer que una opinión sea ley, es reconocer lo preexistente.

@KamaleonconK_MX Confundes libertad con libertinaje. La libertad no existe si no se garantiza primero el derecho básico: la vida. Defender la realidad biológica no nos hace "raros", nos hace coherentes. Hay que estudiar más; todos son libres de opinar, pero no todas las opiniones son respetables.
