Hey everyone. I’ve Been in the hospital since Monday night as sick as I’ve ever been in my life..really would appreciate some prayers. Turns out I have Listeriosis.. an illness from a bacterial infection, called Listeria that’s most commonly found in Dairy products/lunch meat. Wanna apologize to everyone I’ve missed the past few days, the recruits specifically I’m really sorry guys. I’ll be back ASAP.

Recruit Scouting Series: Steele Hirsch. @steele_hirsch SF. 6’3 190. GKHS/WA. 2027. (HS Stats: 12p, 5r, 3a, 3b) 📋🏀: Steele is an elite sharpshooter off the wing, doesn’t miss when he gets his feet set, high arching shot with good mechanics, he’s able to get his shots off over most contests, from anywhere on the floor. Does a great job of moving without the ball and cutting when necessary, finishes strong around the rim, though contact, and makes quick, high IQ passes from around the rim. 📌🏀: Along with Stretching the floor, Steele Makes high IQ plays out of the 2/4th post well, when double teams drop down on him, he doesn’t panic and plays well over strong defensive rotations. Uses his strength and body control well to back down and finish over smaller defenders over either shoulder, and while not being the strongest ball handler right now, is able to drive downhill vs bigger defenders and finish at the rim. 🔒: Very active defender who creates easy transition opportunities with his length and activity, plays passing lanes well, is very strong on ball, and is always in the right place on defensive rotations. Helps protect the rim well (3bpg) has a high enough IQ to help off when needed, and covers ground with his athleticism and length and a strong level. boxes out well, is active on Rebounds, and gives high effort in all the little areas. 🔓: Would love to see Steele work on his ball handling, become more dangerous on the catch+drive, 1on1 breakdown situations, use his elite shooting to bring the defense out further, work on pick/pops, and add a pump fake to help create 5on4 opportunities where he can use his IQ+playmaking abilities. Put a little more strength on, become more efficient in his post play, become even more versatile. Class of 2027, coaches be on the lookout!
