@steelcitystar There’s no QB in history that paid his dues like Terry. Early on the worst in the league as far as execution, benched, humiliated, ferociously chastised by the fans.
Once he figured it out, there was no one better, he beat the best of the best.
English

@SteelersHistory @steelers This play is a good example of how great that offensive line was, a well oiled machine.
English

@SteelersNetwork @LeVeonBell The Steelers really dropped the ball with L-Bell, this guy was a special talent.
Another three maybe four years with the Black & Gold and he would’ve been a HOF candidate in my opinion.
English

Steelers RB @LeVeonBell vs Buffalo (2016)
38 carries, 236 yards (6.2 YPC), 3 TD’s
4 receptions, 62 yards
Special.
English

@steelcitystar If they had won SB 30 they would have been regarded as one of the great defenses in history, even compared to the Steel Curtain and the 2005 team.
In fact it was the defense that put them in a position to win SB 30 with Kirklands sack. Alas, Neil o’Donnell
English

@CamHeywardFan I say it all the time, but his stats across four Super Bowls alone qualifies him.
Not to mention he was the leader in sacks on the best defense in history. The record stood for twenty years until Jason Gildon broke it.
English

@Steel_Legends @BenAnderson58 Those cowpokes thought they were on our level, but they weren’t.
The blocking on this play is perfect, then Franco explodes.
English

@matthewluciow92 @SteelersDad3 In the history of the Ratbirds, there’s a handful of Steelers that they could never stop. They couldn’t stop, L-Bell, Hines. Santonio Holmes, Big Ben, Heath, Bus.
Kordell was the first, Ratbirds never figured out how to stop him and he took it to them.

@birlaur2007 So the Steelers just let their best offensive player from last year walk?
English

@steelcitystar @PittsburghHOF My favorite all time Steeler, I still remember listening to the NFL draft in 1972.
He was absolutely the spark the team needed, as you heard his teammates describe.
English

Happy Birthday Lynn Swann
Lynn catches the winning touchdown in Super Bowl X.
Swann was MVP, the first receiver to win the award

English

@steelercam Yeah, that is good news. Now, time to trim off some of the other fat from the roster.
English

@ShelbyCassesse @JennaHarner11 Which means he’ll ride it out just like he did last year. They need to move on and forget about that guy.
English

@CamHeywardFan @FootballLearn1 Hard to rationalize how the sack leader of the best defense in history could not be enshrined
His stats in SB’s alone should be enough to put him in.
English

@FootballLearn1 I can't think of a more deserving senior candidate for the HOF than L.C. Greenwood.

English

@PittsburghHOF The first Steeler game I went to they wore those jerseys ‘67-68 seasons.
I was always hoping they would use them for throwback games, but it doesn’t look like they will.
English

Love those white Batman jerseys!

@Ol_TimeFootball Biletnikoff was good, he was shifty. Though he had good ball skills, he used to cake his hands with stickum.
Those two teams were the ones who started the rivalry.
English

Happy Birthday Fred Biletnikoff

@SteelCurtainRis Totally true, he was a natural talent and constantly making plays.
English

Mike Wagner doesn't get the credit that the other HOFers on the Super #Steelers do.
But anyone who knows about that era understands he was a key part of that defense.

Mike Wagner’s 3-INT game against the Bears
English

@KDPomp He was solid as a rock in the developing stages of the Steel Curtain. Dude was all over the field and a pivotal member of that team.
English

So sad to hear this 🙏 Mike was a helluva of player for the Steeler Curtain defense.. His contributions largely went unnoticed nationally with so many star players on that team in the 1970's #RIPMike
