@CamHeywardFan I say it all the time, but his stats across four Super Bowls alone qualifies him. Not to mention he was the leader in sacks on the best defense in history. The record stood for twenty years until Jason Gildon broke it.

@matthewluciow92 @SteelersDad3 In the history of the Ratbirds, there’s a handful of Steelers that they could never stop. They couldn’t stop, L-Bell, Hines. Santonio Holmes, Big Ben, Heath, Bus. Kordell was the first, Ratbirds never figured out how to stop him and he took it to them.

@PittsburghHOF The first Steeler game I went to they wore those jerseys ‘67-68 seasons. I was always hoping they would use them for throwback games, but it doesn’t look like they will.

@Ol_TimeFootball Biletnikoff was good, he was shifty. Though he had good ball skills, he used to cake his hands with stickum. Those two teams were the ones who started the rivalry.

@SteelCurtainRis Totally true, he was a natural talent and constantly making plays.

Mike Wagner doesn't get the credit that the other HOFers on the Super #Steelers do. But anyone who knows about that era understands he was a key part of that defense.

@KDPomp He was solid as a rock in the developing stages of the Steel Curtain. Dude was all over the field and a pivotal member of that team.

So sad to hear this 🙏 Mike was a helluva of player for the Steeler Curtain defense.. His contributions largely went unnoticed nationally with so many star players on that team in the 1970's #RIPMike
