Yes I did snuggle an adorable 13 month old and parade her all over clinic today while her mother had a solo bathroom trip for the first time in over a year. Win-win.

@londyloo I am also a deep sleeper- and as a resident, I would keep my pager on the option of vibrate for a while and then make a terrible noise. And, on call sleep is not the same as real sleep- rarely did I ever fall into my real sleep mode while on call. You can totally do this.

I am a deep sleeper. And I have to have alarm clock next to my face or I will sleep through it. Tips for ensuring you don’t sleep through a page in residency?

Today, I told every patient about the COVID-19 vaccine, and how lucky I feel to have received it. I told them I recommend it wholeheartedly. It’s an amazing feat of scientific discovery. And as a physician, it’s my duty to help my patients see it as such. #COVID19Vaccines

White privilege is violently storming the US Capitol and just...being sent home.

I believe the Republican members of Congress who have incited this domestic terror attack through their attempts to overturn the election must face consequences. They have broken their sacred Oath of Office. I will be introducing a resolution calling for their expulsion.

@Adamhill1212 As an intern, my attending prank paged me at least weekly- with things like, can you drop the rent check? Or can you pick up bread? And I thought some poor person was so mad at their partner for ignoring messages. I found out later that it was my attending the whole time.

I just got a page that said “Hi! Good morning”. And that was it. Best page I’ve gotten this year.
