@marktheman2010 @bandq_help @BandQ You had a lucky escape. Worst compost ever I found. Never ever touch it. Sainsbury compost isn’t bad ! ( I get most of mine from our allotment shop but if I can’t I often use Sainsbury’s)

@bandq_help @BandQ . On 27.03.26, I ordered 6 bags of compost. Out for delivery on the 2nd of April, customer services told me it would be delivered before 8 pm. On Monday, customer services twice told me it was OUT for delivery before 8 pm. Today I got a refund, OUT OF STOCK.🤬

Looking for holiday recommendations - in Europe 2-3 hour flight, where we can relax but also enough to keep us interested looking around. Pool/sea would be nice. Preferably not somewhere we’d need to hire a car. Let me know if you have any ideas, overwhelmed with choice haha!

@spitfire_bill Done. Request sent. Crossed my mind as you often appear in those photos atop of screen 😂 All my holidays and adventures are always in my FB. We loved our little hotel ( but bear in mind we are decades older than you !). We had such a relaxing break and the weather was with us !

@BenKentish @LBC It’s usury pure and simple. My daughter in similar situation. Aggravated by some payments commission/ bonuses. These are so gouged by SLC. She declined some opportunities simply because so little financial benefit.

On my @LBC show last night, NHS nurse Elliot with £100,000 in student debt - who says he’d have to be earning £80,000 a year just to keep pace with the interest he owes. He accrued extra interest during the pandemic because he took time out of studying to help with the Covid response. And Kieran, a young solicitor who calculated that he’ll have to pay a total of £250,000 on a initial loan of less than £30,000 because the interest keeps going up and up. He pays back £3,500 a year, of which £3,200 is just interest. But his wealthier friends don’t pay a penny because their parents just paid their uni fees for them outright. “Fair”, @RachelReevesMP? In what world?

@LoveGrowingVeg All the time. It’s a daily battle sadly.

Increasingly I feel we are being farmed intensively for cash by corporations. We are now out of contract for our broadband. If we continue with a new one the prices go up more than 10% each April. Same with mobile. It’s no wonder folk are struggling. This seems rather excessive, obviously will look elsewhere but this seems bedded in everywhere for everything 🤔

@OliverLynne Will watch. I went on a trip to North Cyprus a few years ago and we saw the buffer zone. It was ( not in a good way) fascinating .All these huge land rovers etc arrived with women in bling grabbing all this free stuff. Not the original idea 🧐 Good intention totally abused.

I’ve tried to get into the Christmas spirit. Trying to be positive and happy. But today I am feeling a bit lost and a bit sad. I’m sure tomorrow I’ll feel better. But if you’re in the same place, you aren’t alone. Big hugs.

@steffiec91 Oooh bet that was so cold!! Definitely felt better after a run this morning. Was super cold but 750+ there so it was a good atmosphere and we both felt great after! Hope your daughter has warmed up!!

@spitfire_bill Yummy.I made mistake of trying Mallard poor thing.Never again.Dry and so little meat.Thank goodness we love veg or would have been a disastrous Xmas lunch 🫢😳 Hurrah for a fab delicious free white wine from Ocado Boxing Day doing Spanish stuff NY - the beef I didn’t do today🤣

What meats are on the menu today then tweeps! Me and the husband have a bone in sirloin between us, will be cooked rare and sliced nicely. And all the usual roast trimmings.
