This summer, @finishlineyf hosted a wild $250 shopping spree for 10 STEM From Dance participants to spend on whatever they wanted in the store! They were so grateful & excited for this moment. Thank you, Finish Line, for celebrating our students in such a fun & impactful way!

Come as you are. Truly. Every “expert” had their 1st, 2nd & eventually 500th day doing what they love. Most girls who attend our programs have little experience in STEM. But after attending—they begin to carve out their place in the STEM world. What will you do to get your start?

Jonay participated in STEM From Dance in 2018 with no interest in STEM because she hadn't been introduced in an empowering way. Today, Jonay is a Sustainability Coordinator at Richemont. Planting seeds of confidence so our students know their options is our everyday work at SFD.

While women of color are severely underrepresented in STEM fields. 91% of girls who complete our programs become excited about a career in STEM. Supporting STEM From Dance creates a future that includes the insight, intellect, and innovation that Black and Brown women offer.
