@remercurize i feel like acting has moved towards a lot of like. micro expressions? which can better convey a character’s emotions, but irl people Don’t show every single emotion they feel on their faces. so is it better if it better conveys feeling, or if it’s true to life? difficult to say!

my terrible confession is that i actually can’t really tell when acting is just kinda mediocre. i can only tell when it’s either really good or really bad, i can’t judge the veracity of anything in between
