@GWRHelp It says ANY PERMITTED. please confirm I can't get a train that doesn't stop at Nailsea, but goes on Taunton to Bristol line and change at Bristol to come back to Nailsea. I would normally get Cardiff service but you've cancelled the next 2
@GWRHelp next two trains from Taunton to Cardiff cancelled, surely both can't be due to broken down trains?! What is my alternative, can I get cross country to Bristol and change there?
@GWRHelp I'm on an open and return! Why should I have to wait til 18.10 Taunton to Cardiff? Why can't I get cross country train and get alternative local service from Bristol back to Nailsea? Also what is cause of the breakdown?
Hi there, sorry to hear that. If your train is cancelled, then you can use your current ticket on the two trains directly before or two trains directly after your booked time without amending it. If the two services immediately before or after your original train are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket - John
@steph_croft Hi Steph, I'm sorry to hear this. If you have a reservation and can't sit down, compensation is available here: railhelp.co.uk/gwr/make-a-com…. Please include photos of your ticket and reservation, as well as details of which stations you had to stand between - Gordon
@GWRHelp 19.30 London Paddington to Nailsea, no seat reservations active despite being correct config & waiting in London for 20 minutes b4 departure. Currently myself & 2 companions are standing despite having booked seats. What is reason for this and what is our compensation?
@SomersetCCC, if the adverse weather is the wind rather than the showers please can us poor supporters be told, it has only been a few brief showers in last couple of hours.
