The preprint of my PhD work is now online! Using genetic mouse models we found that the APOE2 variant has a gain-of-function role in melanoma, in which it enhances protein synthesis in melanoma cells via its receptor LRP1. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

It’s an honor & privilege to don my white coat as I begin my MD-PhD training.
In the last 60 YEARS, only ~200 black men have pursued & finished a MD-PhD.
Knowing I will join their ranks one day is a blessing & I’m so thankful to God & my Village that got me here! 👌🏾👨🏾⚕️🩺

@Uber_Support The app wasn’t working for me or the driver during the pick up, the drive, or the drop off. The ride was 20 minutes long. The initial fee was around 10 dollars but I was charged 53 dollars with the wrong drop off location on the app once it came back up again
