
What an incredible week at Healing Academy, From national recognition to inspiring opportunities for our students, this week has truly captured what #TeamHealing is all about. We are immensely proud to have been awarded UCL Centre for Holocaust Education School Status in partnership with UCL Centre for Holocaust Education. This reflects our deep commitment to meaningful, impactful teaching that helps shape thoughtful, compassionate young people who want to make the world a better place. Our focus on the future continues as we explore the role of AI in education, ensuring we lead the way with innovation, ethics and a clear vision to support both staff and students. Careers and real-world experiences have been a huge highlight: ✔️ Year 9 students inspired through Women into Manufacturing and Engineering (WiME) Thanks as always to Dr Kirsty Clode Steve Hoey ✔️ Great success with Ørsted work placements (nearly 500 applicants for just 12 places!) ✔️ National recognition for our Digital Construction collaboration with National Careers Week and Sewell Group ✔️ Continued partnerships supporting our Year 11 students to achieve their very best We’ve also celebrated: Exceptional Health & Social Care results The appointment of our new Year 10 Heads of House A surge in confidence and uptake in GCSE French Sporting success across rugby, football and netball Beyond achievements, what stands out most is our culture one built on our DANCE Values of Delight and Joy, Ambition, Nurture, Community and Empower. Whether through powerful learning experiences like the Auschwitz visit or everyday classroom excellence, our students continue to show resilience, empathy and ambition.
