Those that ask “is phage therapy a commercial prospect?” miss the point. The antibiotic industry has grown to be worth billions and I’m sure Florey’s and Flemming’s first thoughts were not “how do we make a buck out of penicillin?”

Probably reinforces what many of us know but doesn't address the chicken and egg issue. Do factors that predispose to more severe infections also have a direct effect on airway development and vice versa?
