@KirkHerbstreit Major Conference Champions all in; sorry FSU the ACC was the worst of the best five conferences; won’t be an issue next year. Also FSU entertainment value in games running low lately with sub QBs.

Unfortunately significant injuries impact teams as much as head to head matchups and conference championships. You can’t ignore the impact the loss of Jordan Travis had on the Noles. Sucks..but big part of a teams final evaluation

Finished reading Paradise Lost this morning. Excellent read but not easy. Amazing how much the English language has changed over the years. Always enjoy this time of the year. Working toward finishing my reading goals and planning new ones for next year.

Peaceful Thanksgiving morning at the lake. Enjoying watching the sun rise over the mist, reflecting on the many blessings I have been given. Also looking forward to a great meal with family later today.

I have a lot to be thankful for on the eve of Thanksgiving.

Day 2 is starting with excel fundamentals. Data analysis is a critical skill for Pharmacy Administration and Leadership. Planned later is writing a business plan

Kathryn is kicking off our Pharmacy Administration and Leadership short course at Monash Health. This is for their team leads across their hospitals. Global leadership needs and lack of well trained people for hospital pharmacy are universal.

Had a great doughnut in Melbourne at Queen Victoria Market. While vanilla cream filled is still my favorite, the jam doughnuts here are good.

Enjoyed my first SHPA meeting. Really enjoyed the content, energy, and connecting with hospital pharmacists in Australia. I hope to return. Had a few times meeting someone who I have valued their articles over the years. Great to put a face with the names.

Had a wonderful time in Cairns. Wish I was able to take better advantage of the many things to do, but leaves me wanting to come back. Also, always enjoy seeing or tasting items that are not available in the US.

Been a great and definitely unexpected journey. Appreciate all of the support provided by UNC.

Had a chance to hike with my family today on the Mountains to Sea Trail. While a little warm, it was still beautiful.

Spending the weekend at the beach and finishing up the inferno section of Dante’s divine comedy. With how hot it is, I feel like I have all senses engaged as I read about hell. Not sure what location I should select for reading purgatory and heaven for the same experience.

@FloridaPharmDir @SC_Pharmacist I really appreciated how he used data and research to drive practice standards, something that was rare then and from my perspective, still is. He also prioritized the profession. Plenty of continued opportunities with stability research that exists.

@SC_Pharmacist Larry was a Pharmacy Treasure and Legend; a great, positive and happy person. The impact of Trissels on pharmacy practice and medication safety was extraordinary, impactful and essential.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget the “real” people behind the names we get so used to saying (Trissel’s, Mosby’s, King, Harriet Lane, etc). This is a really nice obituary for a pharmacy legend. #TwitteRx pontevedravalley.com/obituaries/law…
