Trying out the new Mutagen file sync in Docker on a M1 Pro and it makes a huge difference when dealing with large code bases. So much faster than using bind mounts, my initial tests show something like 5x performance. It requires a Pro subscription but totally worth it!

Recently been exploring new languages through the lens of a framework. Learning Go while writing a CLI with Charm Bubble Tea and getting up to speed on Node with Astro and Remix has been great, and having a project in mind first has helped to keep me on track.

A simple sign that a web app isn't using URLs effectively: Tickets can't merely specify a URL. Instead, they have to say 🚫 "Click on this tab" 🚫 "Open this toolbar" 🚫 "Expand this accordion" 🚫 "Scroll down to this section" These things should typically be specified in the URL. This assures that when a user shares or bookmarks a URL, everyone sees the same thing later.

@davidhemphill I bought the latest iPhone SE refurbished with a new battery. Still a great phone, gets all the software updates, and can't beat the size!

Thinking about just snagging a plain iPhone 15...the Pro models haven't spoken to me in a few years.🤷‍♂️ Still wish there was an iPhone SE that was the mini form factor.
