Socialism is mismanagement because central planning is an impossible problem. No committee, ministry, or party apparatus can see enough, know enough, or adapt fast enough to coordinate millions of shifting preferences, tradeoffs, shortages, and signals better than free exchange can.

@Rothmus GW1 was WW3, GW2 was WW3, Afghanistan was WW3, Ukraine-Russia was WW3, stop with the WW3 we're into something like WW5 or 6.

@BillDoesStuff2 @Maximumatheist Yep for every proven theory a dozen are left unproven or proved to be wrong. That is the nature of all theories.

@stephenvmckenna @Maximumatheist Gravitational Lensing Visibility: He published a paper claiming that gravitational lensing (the bending of light around stars) would be too small to ever be observed, which was later proven incorrect as it is now a key observational tool.

@BillDoesStuff2 @Maximumatheist He did he used math. Quantum theory was his brainchild he could not understand because it did not fit his preconceptions, and so he treated it like his redheaded step child.

@stephenvmckenna @Maximumatheist Sure, some did, some didn't and were stupid. Einstein had some stupid ideas too, like really crackpot ones. lol. But a lot his turned out to be true too, he just had no way to test/prove them and now we do.
