Waking watch: a short story Once upon a time we had a WW. Other than harass girls, they did nothing. A temporary fire alarm (over £100k) was then installed to replace the WW. That alarm now has a fault. Tonight we welcome back the WW. The end 😢 #endourcladdingscandal

Looks like the "£1bn" announced by Rachel Reeves is not new money. In 2023/24 @hmtreasury spent c£580m on building safety. That should rise this year and again in 2025/26 so the statement from the Chancellor is underwhelming. Is this the same old politics @UKLabour?

Hi @BBCBreakfast our block of clad flats is pushing to have it all fixed. We’ve got everything ready. Our developer will pay. Delighted. We’ve got everything lined up. But now the building owner won’t provide consent or insurance needed. Down tools! @McrCladiators @EOCS_Official
