Well damn, it happened. Survived the first round of layoffs and the second round of resignations, but got laid off from Twitter today. Not a single bad word to say now or ever about the blue bird app.

After 8+ years, my road at Twitter has come to an end. So many will say it, but the special part of Twitter was and still is the Tweeps that work there. Add on the wonderful partners I was able to collaborate with…I’ve made lifelong friends that I couldn’t be more thankful for.

I made the difficult choice to leave Twitter. There are many words and feelings, but the one that encapsulates it all is: Magic. Working at Twitter was magic. I learned more than I knew I could. I met people who will be in my life forever. It was so much more than a job.
