"What are you doing?" John asked. "Staring at the sky," said Mia. "The stars are beautiful tonight." He followed her gaze. "It's like an escape up there." "A #starscape," she corrected. "A million shining examples of God's love on display for all to see." #vss365

In the last breath of dawn she exhales. A quiet #sussuration. A meditation, some say. But this is her time to pray. Plead. As if her need falls on a God who hears. "Be near," she murmurs faith and fear in her hands. In her breath. In a dawn sinking slowly. A final death. #vss365
