Stephanie's work has spanned innovative attention bias modification training to differentiating cannabis-induced psychosis from cannabis co-occuring with first episode schizophrenia. We are excited to see her research career continue to take off! 2/2

We see that people in our community are tired, and rightfully so. It has been an incredibly challenging year. As we prepare to take some time off to rest and recover, we will reflect on the incredible work we have seen in our community. Thank you - We are grateful for you! #ygk

This experience has also shown us that time and again, individuals and students from underserved communities (and NOT institutions) are the ones making sacrifices to help their own. It has always been BIPoC at the forefront of addressing inequities.

What is important to remember about @Noroh_D’s story is that this not an individual failing/unfortunate cautionary tale, but a reflection of a larger, more complicated web of institutional shortcomings & the risk of venturing into EDI waters without a clear sight of a safe shore.

My experience with the GRE: It was a huge financial strain on my family. I had to do it twice because of the anxiety and pressure around it. Hundreds of $USD. Subject test was not offered in Ottawa, had to pay for transportation and lodging to do it in Toronto. #AcademicTwitter
