👑🇬🇧 King Charles has paid a heartfelt tribute to Queen Elizabeth II on what would have been her 100th birthday.
In a deeply personal message, the King honoured his “darling Mama”, praising her lifelong devotion, steadfast service, and the lasting impact she had across the UK, the Commonwealth and beyond. He urged people to see the day not as a moment of loss, but as a celebration of “a life well-lived” and a legacy of hope.
Marking the centenary, members of the Royal Family will gather for commemorative events, including a Buckingham Palace reception recognising charities and individuals connected to the late Queen.
Queen Elizabeth II, Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, died in 2022 after 70 years of service — but her influence and example continue to inspire generations.

@MarkOrmrod There's been a few pprogrammes on the TV last week, hits you hard again that she's gone. And reminds of the regret of not going to London and seeing her coffin. I wanted to so much but didn't and hate that I never made the journey, after all she did for all of us.

@SixNationsRugby I've played both, still playing rugby after nearly 30nyears, played AF for 14 years... both tough on the body. People criticise AF because of the pads, but the tackles are bigger. I play rugby on a Saturday and maybe ache for a day or 2, when I played AF I ached all week.

Newcastle Red Bulls can confirm that head coach Alan Dickens will leave the club at the end of the current season.
The former scrum-half has been with Newcastle since the summer of 2024, providing valuable stability during a period of major transition.
Having enjoyed success coaching Northampton Saints and England Under-20s, among others, Dickens will depart in the summer with the sincere thanks and best wishes of Newcastle Red Bulls.
