After the OnePlus news, many of you're are asking me : 1) Whether you should buy a OnePlus device or not❓ 2) What about updates❓ 3) What about after sales service ❓ 1) In India 🇮🇳, the brand will continue to operate ✅ , so, if you're getting a OnePlus phone that is VFM then you can absolutely buy it ✅ 2) Most of you already know, how similar the current OxygenOS is with the ColorOS, so if in future they leave India, it'll be taken care by their parent brand Oppo and your OnePlus phone will continue to get updates if it is under the promised update policy 3) What I have heard is, few exclusive OnePlus service centers are not running properly but from now on, all OnePlus devices will be serviceable at oppo service centres as well in India But, what we're seeing is : 🔴 There is uncertainty about whether the next number series OnePlus device (OnePlus 16) will launch in 🇮🇳 or not.... (Most likely it won't) 🔴 Hasselblad partnership got shifted to flagship oppo devices 🔴 While OnePlus is pulling out from other global markets, Oppo will introduce their Ultra device (Find X9 Ultra) globally for the first time While the brand OnePlus will continue to operate in India 🇮🇳, you can clearly see what is happening, they're slowly getting absorbed by their parent brand Oppo‼️(much like Vivo & iQOO)
