Taylor Ward is not in this Orioles lineup vs. Yankees RHP Cam Schlittler — the first game this season that Ward isn’t starting. Colton Cowser is starting in LF — just his second start in the past 10 games. And interestingly, Jeremiah Jackson at 3B and Blaze Alexander at 2B.

Signing both UCONN UDFA QB Joe Fagnano and Vanderbilt UDFA QB Diego Pavia before rookie minicamp gives Ravens options. No guarantees that they'll keep them both after this weekend, but they're at least now both on equal footing.

Has the lineup been a juggernaut? No. But your starters cannot be going out there and giving up 4+ runs consistently.

I know Chris Bassitt is technically pitching the 3rd game of the season.
But the Orioles rotation sets up so beautifully if you consider Zach Eflin the #3 starter.
Baz stays at 4 to lower the pressure.
Bassitt and Kremer become high end “depth starters” for reliable 4.00 ERAs.
